Because every relationship is unique and because there is a lot to do, couples seeking the Sacrament of Marriage\u00a0must meet the priest at least one year prior to a desired date. Engaged couples are asked to go through a marriage preparation retreat, usually held at a neighbouring parish on a weekend, before the wedding can take place. Additionally, engaged couples will need to be interviewed by the parish priest.<\/p>\n
